Today, Donald J. Trump was acquitted by the Senate. 57 votes to convict with 7 Republicans voting with the Democrats and 43 Senators voting to acquit Trump. 17 Republicans were needed to convict.

The 43 Republicans who voted to acquit Trump based their vote on the false notion that there was no Constitutional basis and thus no Constitutional jurisdiction to convict him. These 43 Senators must hang their heads in shame for condoning an insurrection against our Democratic Republic.

They must all resign their Senate seats and leave Congress immediately. They, too, are guilty of the treason that Donald Trump committed and must suffer the karmic  consequences of their nefarious and treasonous actions. Their names will go down in infamy.
