If God intended to describe Its Creation as Great, Genesis 1:31 would not have described God’s Creation as “very good.”

Humanity needs to focus less on achieving greatness and more on achieving goodness. God is not concerned with greatness so why strive to be great?

It’s impossible to be Great because greatness almost always leads to something not so great. Greatness is difficult to sustain.

Greatness is ego driven.

On the other hand anybody can be good and express goodness and be in good company with God by doing good works.

Goodness is love driven.

God didn’t have a big ego and say It’s  Creation was great. In sublime humility a most powerful God said Its Creation was “very good.” That was “good” enough. “And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.”

It’s time to make the world good again. Like God is. God is good. And we ARE created in the image and likeness of that goodness. Genesis 1:27.

Dictators and authoritarians crave greatness and power. They all fall. Trump will fall. Putin will fall. Netenyahu will fall. The tide has turned.

The paradox is expressing goodness is a really great thing. It’s the “real thing!”
